PATIENT PARTICIPATION GROUP
We have recently set up a patient participation group who meet on a monthly basis with a GP and a member of the management team to discuss how we can take the practice forward and better for patients. The aim of the group is to make the surgery a better place for patients to come to and to give a patients view on how patient care can be improved.
If you have any suggestions for the PPG representatives to look at, there is a PPG suggestion box in reception or you can contact a representative on one of the following numbers.

All suggestions are confidential to the patient representatives, no names will be given to the practice staff. However, the patient participation group is not a forum for complaints or can be used for a patient to use for their own personal issues with the practice.

We are in the process of setting up our new Patient Participation Group. We have our panel of patients who have volunteered to represent all patients at the surgery. More information will be on the Notice Board in the coming weeks, to include names, contact details etc.....
Any patient who is suffering from depression or anxiety who is not already receiving Counselling or hospital care, please book an appointment with doctor for referral for Counselling.
Would patients please telephone the surgery five days after having a blood test for their results and two days for urine tests.
Any patient who has been referred urgently to hospital should contact the surgery if they have not received an appointment.
48 hours notice is required for a repeat prescription. Would any patient with asthma who has not been seen by nurse recently please ring for an appointment
Opening hours for Hindley Green have been extended . Doctor Surgery times are 9am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri. 3pm to 5pm on Wednesdays. The doctors attending surgery are Dr. Ninan, Dr. Nawaz, Dr. Tun, Dr. Arora and Dr. Gopal in rotation. This has been changed following the patient satisfaction questionnaire done recently which reflected the need for more available appointments. Surgery times and services remain unchanged at Hindley Health Centre.
